Vineyards
The vineyards are located around Grávalos, a town in the foothills of the Sierra de la Demanda, at an altitude of 700 metres above sea level.

The Escudero family has 15 hectares planted with Viura, the grape used for the Benito Escudero cavas, with vines averaging between 30 and 65 years in age. It also has 13 acres of Chardonnay, with vines about 30 years old, used to make the cavas of the Dioro Baco brand. Finally, 5 hectares of Pinot Noir are employed for making the Dioro Baco Brut Rosé.

These vineyards mark the personality of our cavas which are the result of what is tantamount to an obsession with the care and respect for the environment.
